TIPS
BATTLEFIELD V

Battlefield V is one of the best FPS shooters. The game features a wide range of weapons, each with a distinct feel in the gunplay. There are four main classes with four variants to choose from. Maps are big and varied. I have thousands of hours in the game. Here are some useful hints based on my experience of the game:-
-
If you are playing as a recon, you will need positional awareness, and you will need to know each map well enough to know proper sniping spots. In the weapon mod option, I suggest getting the quick aim, as well as the sling and swivel, for a quick weapon swap. Switching to a secondary weapon fast is very handy for a sniper, as the second shot will likely take more time, especially when you are using a bolt-action rifle.

Scope selection is very important for all sniper rifles. 3X scope can work well for an aggressive playstyle. The 6X scope is recommended for better headshot accuracy at long range. All sniper rifles that offer the 6X scope do not have the same reach, which can be noted when you zoom in to snipe. Certain rifles are more suitable for mid-range, and others for long-range sniping. There are players who do not use any scope; it can be fun, but it requires skill. In my opinion, it is not practical not to use a scope in a sniper rifle. Knowing the bullet drop is essential for some sniper rifles, even while playing TDM mode, as the maps are big enough, even in the team death match rounds.

Sniping doesn’t necessarily require patience. You can lay low and snipe, hold a position and snipe, but you can also run and gun while sniping. Just maintain the proper distance when trying a faster/aggressive playstyle. The hardest parts while you snipe will likely be trying to successfully land a shot when an opponent is sprinting towards the left or right. Or when an opponent is up and close to your position. A smoke grenade is handy for a recon to cover/hide yourself from incoming bullets, as well as while reviving other squad members. Both the telescope and the flare gun can be utilized to spot enemies. I prefer the flare gun as it covers a wide range and is safer to use. I personally use smoke grenades and AP mines. The medic class is a good starting class to focus on and learn the game, as well as develop your playstyle. Besides the ability to heal oneself and others as well as reviving everyone on your side, the medic class has the ability to stack up a lot of points, 100 per revive, 200 per squad member revive, and other points that you can earn while you are healing others.
-
The medic class also has three different weapons that offer a 3X scope for close-range/mid-range sniping. I recommend using the bandages for the medic class instead of using the medical crate. Bandages allow you to instantly heal others as needed. Smoke grenade is vital for the medic class as it allows smoke cover while you revive others, and the smoke can also be used tactically to hide yourself, as well as while running towards the opponents.
-
Generally, it is recommended to keep moving and be ready to aim immediately, even while you are moving or sprinting. But lying low is also a viable strategy in certain maps, especially when using some of the heavy weapons available in the support class. Always have one of your sides covered, that is, by positioning yourself near a building or a tree. Try various weapons for extended periods to get a proper feel of them and understand the distinct differences between them. Reviving is very important, as is getting revived, so hold on for help while you are down, since you never know how close a match can get, and how often a round is won by a single person left in the side. Switch classes as needed, depending upon the map you are playing. For example, I prefer the Recon class in almost all the maps, but in certain maps, such as Operation Underground or Iwo Jima, the Medic class is more suitable, as sniping is not practical in those maps. The more you play, the better you get.

Regarding the best weapons for all classes, I believe that whatever weapon you are more comfortable and confident using is the best weapon for you.
