Final VR500 and Final VR3000

Spatial audio is common now, and I would recommend getting the earphones or headphones that support any form of spatial audio. Below are the list of recommended Earphones, IEMs and Headphones for gaming:-

Final VR500 Wired Earphones

The earphones are perfectly suitable for spatial audio technologies such as Dolby Atmos, DTS X, Tempest 3D on PlayStation 5, Windows Sonic, etc. Provides a very wide soundstage; audio is detailed, bass is lacking, and the treble can feel almost harsh at times. Nice clarity, though the audio's fullness may not feel as good as that of a Spatial headphone, given the earphones' smaller size by design. Mic quality is good, build quality is fine, but the wire length can feel slightly short. Tested with games including Battlefield V, and it was the first time that I experienced hearing thunder above my head in any game. All types of sounds from all directions are heard with precision.

JBL Quantum 100M2 Wired Headphones

Supports Windows Sonic and other spatial audio tech. Bass may sound boxy or muddy. Offers excellent positional accuracy, clean audio, and a wide soundstage. Music is normal, movies are very good, and games using spatial audio are as expected. Build quality and mic are good, with excellent earpads.

Final VR3000 Wired Earphones

Compared to the VR500, the VR3000 has cleaner audio and a little more treble well as soundstage, but the price increase isn't justified. Build quality is similar, so consider this only if you want a marginal upgrade from the VR500. The VR3000 matches or exceeds the HD560s in clarity. Fitting is comfortable. I found the treble harsh, and the bass is extremely lacking.

Sony Pulse 3d

Clean audio, decent bass, but it can sound a bit muddy; nevertheless, it's good enough. The fitting is not comfortable, and the build quality is barely average. Soundstage is decent. Mic is decent.

Sennheiser HD560S

Poor bass, where this shines is in clarity, as audio is very clean, and the soundstage is rather narrow for an open-back headphone. Treble can be harsh at louder volumes. Not comfortable to wear for longer sessions.

Steelseries Arctis Nova 1

Excellent sound, treble can get annoying, but the bass is satisfactory. Good mic and the best thing about this headphone is that the listening is very enjoyable, no matter which media you are using with this. Good soundstage and build quality. Clean audio.

AKG K92

Good audio quality, bass is a bit lacking, but the earpads are not good, and neither is the build quality, where the head suspension part eventually breaks down, especially if you are using hair oils. The best thing about this headphone is the good soundstage and clarity. The fitting is comfortable.

Philips Audio Hi-Res Audio PRO6305BK

Hi-res earphones with decent bass and treble. Good soundstage and mic, and build quality is average. Very enjoyable listening experience in gaming and music, and movies.

MOONDROP CHU II

Audiophile grade, treble is not harsh as long as you are not playing at high volumes, good soundstage, bass is audible, but it is just about enough that it doesn’t feel lacking. The best thing about these IEMs is the audio clarity. Good build quality and comfortable to wear and easy to listen for long hours.
